It’s Maestro Monday, and the Zebra Morning Show welcomes a very special guest: Mr. Darius, the brand-new ninth-grade vice principal at New Brunswick High School. In this episode, Oscar and Haley sit down with him to learn about his journey from math student to teacher, and now administrator. From his early dreams of becoming an actuary or engineer, to the inspiration he drew from his wife (also an educator), Mr. Darius shares his story with humor, honesty, and plenty of school pride.The conversation covers his teaching background, time as a vice principal in Rahway, his goals for NBHS freshmen, and even a little theater and sports talk. Along the way, we meet Hailey, a new ninth grader and Zebra Morning Show voice, who shares her own experiences adjusting to high school while balancing soccer and volleyball.
