Andrew Acedo is a first generation Filipino American, an award-winning filmmaker, the Community and Impact Manager of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, and a recipient of the "2021 Impact-Maker to Watch" award from the City of Los Angeles. He is passionate about empowering the BIPOC and disabled Communities to tell their stories through film and TV. He writes, directs, produces, and edits films as well. His newest short film, "Good Filipino Kids," has screened at renowned festivals and won and been nominated for several awards.
