Listen "The Unseen Leader: Lessons from the Combat Zone"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Your Wellness, I have the pleasure of chatting with Phil Jewell from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Phil is a former Major who has served in the UK, Canadian, and US armies. He brings his unique leadership style, honed from leading troops in combat, to his work today. Phil believes that a great leader builds trust and empathy within their team to bring out the best in everyone, whether in the corporate world or in extreme conditions abroad. He is passionate about educating people on his "Serve to Lead" approach, offering a fresh perspective on leadership. Phil also shares his personal journey with mental health after returning home from military service, and how he has managed to overcome these challenges. He is committed to being the best husband, father, and Irrelevant Leader he can be.
