Pat is not only an author, but also a prostate cancer survivor who has turned his personal journey into a mission of hope and advocacy. In our conversation, Pat will share what it was like to first hear his diagnosis, the emotions of denial, the challenges of surgery and recovery and how he came to write his book, “Still Smiling: A Conversation with a Prostate Cancer Survivor”. We’ll also talk about the importance of early detection, support systems and addressing the psychological impact of the disease.
