Episode Synopsis
Silencing the inner bully can be challenging, but important. Recently, I had to confront my mental bully when I decided to enter a half marathon race. Strangely, I did not physically train for the race. In this episode, I discuss the mindset training I went through to overcome my negative inner voice. Here are some strategies I used to help me: Identify the inner bully. The first step is to become aware of the inner bully's voice. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. When you start to think negatively, replace those thoughts with more positive affirmations. Surround yourself with positive things and people. Remember that silencing your inner bully is a journey, not a destination. It takes time, effort, and patience.
