About Meghann Weis:
After 10 years of experience teaching primarily ELA to 6th-8th grade students, Meghann Weis transitioned out of the classroom first to the position of Assistant Principal and now is the Blended Learning Coordinator for the Archdiocese of New York. Meghann's experience teaching in 1:1 classrooms using iPads and/or Chromebooks to personalize learning and differentiate instruction prepared her for her current role designing and implementing PD sessions for teachers K-8 on best practices for integrating technology to enhance their curriculum.
Meghann has also served on the board for both the Greater Washington Reading Council and the Virginia State Reading Association while working as a teacher in Arlington, Virginia. She has been a presenter at both regional and statewide conferences including: Greater Washington Reading Council conference, Virginia State Reading Association conference, and Religious and Independent School Educators conference. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington where she received her BA in English; Hunter College where she studied English Education 7-12; and George Mason University where she received an additional master's degree in Educational Leadership.
