In Genesis 18, Abraham petitions with God for at least 10 people to be found righteous for God not to destroy Sodom. Unfortunately, 10 were not found. YET, in Genesis 19, God was faithful to Lot and his family to give them opportunity to leave before the angels destroyed the city. Abraham was a part of this journey through his prayers. Lot was preserved.
