Send us a textTonight’s SmackDown was one of those episodes that just makes you stare at the screen like, “Why would they book this?” I absolutely hated this show. Carmelo Hayes losing? LA Knight losing? That is not exciting. That is not shocking. That is straight-up horrible booking that kills momentum for two of the most over guys in the company.Yes, Gunther is worthy. Gunther is always worthy. But even with that, the route they took tonight feels like it was designed in a room where nobody has watched WWE for more than ten minutes. Carmelo didn’t need that loss. LA Knight definitely didn’t need that loss. The crowd didn’t deserve that either.Cody Rhodes did great. Solo Sikoa did great. There were individual performances worth praising.
