Only 57% of Arkansas adults reported having a dental visit in 2020. Like other health professions, there is an enormous need to educate, train, and keep dentists here in Arkansas to address the state’s significant oral health needs. That's why the announcement of a planned dental school at the newly established Lyon College Institute of Health Sciences in Little Rock has been such welcome news.
