Listen "879. Luke, Chapter 20 (#4) - For He is not a God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him - September 15, 2025"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 15. I will then key in on verse 2 - The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, But the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness. Friends, fools do not think about the words that will come out of their mouth prior to speaking. People with wisdom will choose their words carefully (prior to speaking). On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points I brought up on last Thursday's podcast (Episode #878 - If you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast, I invite you to do so). I will then go over a passage of scripture entitled, "The Sadduccees: What About the Resurrection?" This will cover verses 27-40 of Luke, Chapter 20. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. The Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection.2. In the resurrection we will be given resurrection bodies similar to Jesus's body.3. For He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all live to Him.Scriptures found in today's lesson:Proverb 15:2; Luke 20:27-40; Acts 23:6-8; Philippians 3:7-11; Exodus 3:1-6Call to Action - Do you have wisdom? Do you use it when making decisions in your life? (If you feel you need more wisdom ask God for it, and He will give it to you - James 1:5).
