Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 20. I will then key in on verse 27 - The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart. Friends, in our lesson today the rich young ruler's heart wasn't where it needed to be. He was selfish, he was arrogant, and only thought about himself. Jesus was not impressed. Because of this the rich young ruler went away unsatisfied. On today's podcast I will begin by reviewing the three points that I introduced on Monday's podcast (Episode #860 - If you did not get a chance to tune in to that podcast I invite you to check it out). We will then continue our study of the Gospel, according to Luke. We will go over verses 18-23 on Chapter 18. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. No one is good but One, that is, God.2. Jesus was determining whether the ruler's treasure lay with God or money.3.
