Listen "Episode 30: Meditation For People Who Can't Meditate"
Episode Synopsis
In Episode 30 we talk about how the trauma response affects our ability to sit in meditation. Many people have a hard time sitting still or focusing during meditation, and this can be due to a triggering of the trauma response. I explain why I think meditation is so important in rewiring the trauma response in the brain, and we approach learning to meditate in very short segments. In this meditation I give you three different tools you can practice in about 60 seconds to start to bring yourself more into a state of mindfulness and meditation, even if you feel like meditation isn't for you!
