I will say that writing the episode title brought forth a bit of goosebumps – RIP David Bowie. While aspiring to be Bowie-esque is only a fraction of my mission in life(the other fractions being a Jobs-like, Henson savvy, and for shits and giggles Super O’Brien kinda guy… I know I have, quite a distance to go before I could become a space Oddity – right now I’m just a plain oddity that like the great Rodney Dangerfield who gets no respect. I will attest, I am not trying but rather doing my best with my current amount of limited resources to better myself and all though sometimes the struggle is real..I have found it to be truly worth it and know I have still a great distance to go. I am in this for the long haul and must embrace my self induced evolution. I speak of an encounter that my friend Jared and I had with Jeffrey the professional panhandler around the corner from Caliente Cab Co and my efforts to bring a little change into his life for the better…plus some other fun stuff.
