This week we turn to one of the last parables that Jesus ever offers to us. When we think of the parable of the talents from Matthew chapter 25, we typically think that it is a parable about how we ought to do more – for God and for others. And while this parable is certainly about being productive rather than miserly or unambitious, it is about so much more!

This parable teaches us that what will determine what sort of servant we are (and we are all servants to something or someone) – is not necessarily our own ability, talent, or ambition. It actually has far more to do with how we perceive our master. Join us as Jesus teaches us about who God is, and how we are to relate to Him.
