Hello, my name is Sal, I am a mum of four children and a wife. Please take a seat and join me as I reflect upon my journey as a mother of two boys who have a diagnosis of level three Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), global developmental delay and associated neurodivergent conditions.
I will look back at more than a decade of full-time care, sharing my highs, lows, and everything in-between. I have learned a lot and I wish to share with you all the things I wish I'd known at the start, and to share with you my acceptance and conclusion that "it's not you, it's not them, it just is."
