Zohran Mamdani has been declared the winner of the NYC Democratic mayoral primary. Ranked choice votes were counted today and showed that, all in all, Mamdani beat former governor Andrew Cuomo by twelve percentage points. WFUV’s Adithi Vimalanathan reports.
