Listen "A Question: Will a good education make you a better person?"
Episode Synopsis
In my history class recently, we have been discussing the enlightenment era and the scientific revolution. The enlightenment was a period in the late 17th century and the 18th century that was intellectual movement where reason, individualism, and skepticism were heavily emphasized. In this time period traditional religious beliefs were challenged. These philosophers’ opinions were not acknowledged to be true until much later in the enlightenment period. This question was a topic in the enlightenment and is still a debated question today.
