What’s your definition of ‘commitment’? It will be different for everyone and there’s no wrong or right answer. Some women want a monogamous relationship that offers companionship and connection while others want to get remarried. There are lots of different levels in between these two as well and only YOU can determine what’s right for you.
But many of my clients find it difficult to talk about these desires – or the word commitment in general – with men they meet, often because men are a little slow to join the personal development bandwagon. In general, most men are raised to ignore their feelings or with the belief that only women talk about feelings. That’s not to say your man can’t come around and learn to communicate more deeply; it’s just a process.
