She is of Bolivian-Haitian descent and is fluent in Spanish.Yvonne recently finished filming the role of Denise King, wife of Darius King (John Salley) in Disney Plus’ 2021 feature film Sneakerella. After her 8 episode Recurring Guest Star on BET’s The Oval, Tyler Perry created the show Ruthless around her character! This came after her major breakthrough as Whitney Houston’s close friend Robyn Crawford in a major supporting role in The Bobby Brown Story, which won her and the film the NAACP award.
