In John 8 we read how Jesus showed grace and disarmed hypocrites for a woman caught in a shameful sin. Our evil adversary tempts us to give into sin, tries to push us away from abiding in Christ by his accusations, and tries to paralyze our Christian walk and works through our deep regret. This story is amazing and encouraging, but Bible scholars reveal that it might not be part of the original Gospel of John.
