tato mahā-purāṇānāṁ
mahopaniṣadāṁ tathā
mādhya-sthyād āgamānāṁ tu
jayo jāto mama priyaḥ
TRANSLATION
Then the major Purāṇas and Upaniṣads became arbitrators, and so victory went to the Āgamas. That pleased me very much.
