The inquiries I'm getting for weddings in 2023 have slowed down dramatically. Not sure why, I've called my competitors, the venues I frequent and I've spoken to dozens of couples. Some venues increased their prices, others want to do less volume. Many couples are concerned about the cost of hotel rooms in Portland, Maine (the prices are outrageous!). There's a slowing in inquiries and bookings, that's for sure, why, I'm not 100% sure yet...
