Listen "A Solar Eclipse and Severe Thunderstorms? Only in Texas!"
Episode Synopsis
Sky conditions, particularly low clouds, will likely be their worst around 9 to 11 am. Some scattering and dissipation of low clouds is expected between 11 am and the time of the eclipse. The best viewing conditions are most likely to be north of I-20. Some unluckier areas will still have dense low clouds with low eclipse viewability. Thinner high clouds are expected, which will allow for many features to be viewable. The most dense high clouds are more likely to remain outside of our area.
