He has pioneered device development in the area of pediatric pulmonary medicine. It was his fifth year of attending the conference.He hosts Get Moving TV, a TV show that has done 200 or so episodes on technology in Ventura County, California.He has worked on numerous technology projects. The people that he meets at the HIMSS Conference lead to other projects.They are trying to build up an innovation center in Ventura County. There was an aerospace industry in Ventura a long time ago but they all closed shop. They’re now trying to build that back up.Uses of Voice Technology in Advancing HealthcareThey have been working with Orbiter to develop a voice technology where a person can just say short sentences into a phone for that voice to be analyzed for congestive heart failure, COPD and other diseases.They work on solving bilingual education problems. Being able to deliver language to people who are illiterate is very important to Dr. Landon.They are working on solutions to the opioid use disorder problem in the United States and worldwide. There can be a technology that analyses the voices who call in to report opioid use cases.They also work on the issues of newborns with cystic fibrosis.
