Today's dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to self-love. I did not say love for somebody else. Love for something else. I said, love for yourself. Do you love yourself or do you just tolerate yourself? What are you doing to show that you love yourself? I thought about this as I was listening to this track entitled "Self Love" by Jayson Lyric featuring Nevaeh and in it Nevaeh starts belting, "I've been working on me. I've been loving on me. I had to learn to love myself." Do you love yourself? Are you taking time with yourself? Are you doing the work to show the appreciation you have for yourself? You don't have to answer that to me. I just want to know if you have the answer for yourself. Then Jayson goes on to say, and he spits his bars, "Always bet on yourself and best believe it. Self-hate we must unteach it." Take a chance on yourself. Believe in yourself. Allow yourself to see the truth in yourself. That's what self-love is. It's appreciating, it's admiring. It's believing. It's achieving all those things for self to self. And you'll start to notice that when you love yourself, you'll start shining. Jayson goes on to say, "Something got to glory. Can't put my finger on it. God took his time on. You had to linger on it." You're beautiful and I want you to see that.
