Today’s dose of Vitamin D is dedicated to acknowledgment. are you acknowledging the things that are important to you in your regular life? more importantly, are you acknowledging the people you love or the things that drive you? Tell me, how do you feel when someone tells you how much you mean to them? you feel good right? It’s that moment of appreciation that reminds you of why you’re here, doing the sometimes hard work of building a relationship. that same thing happens when you take a moment to realize how lucky you are to be able to make your dream real. you get to show up and make yourself better. You get to become your best self. You get to turn that vision that has driven you for 5, 10, 15 years and share it with the world.  Think of Daniel Caesar's “Best Part” he sings, “If you love me won’t you say something, if you love me won’t you say something?” Remember that your dreams can call out for recognition. just like with a relationship if you don’t acknowledge them you’ll lose them and the opportunities to make them real. Now I know we often feel like gratitude is for the birds, that life is moving fast and that when you show up you’re expressing interest but stop and hold that for a second. You need to bring gratitude to everything you do.
