Listen "God's Rest and God's Faith | Pr Raph | Nov. 23, 25"
Episode Synopsis
God’s rest is the settled confidence that His work is already complete and His victory already secured. Hebrews 3–4 shows that Israel’s greatest failure was not moral sin but unbelief—refusing to trust the God who delivered, provided, and walked with them. This same warning reaches us today: unbelief still closes the door to God’s rest, while trust invites us into the place where His finished work becomes the anchor of our soul. This rest is not passivity or escape; it is entering God’s own posture—the rest of completion. It is where God’s kairos invades our chronos, where we live from the future He already sees accomplished. The Promised Land imagery reminds us that what God prepares, He calls us to enter by faith. Giants still appear, battles still come, but rest means standing in the assurance that God’s provision, timing, and victory are already established. To enter this rest, God gives us His own faith—a divine, mountain-moving faith that does not originate in human strength. Through His living Word and the daily encouragement of the community of believers, this faith grows, strengthens, and sustains. God’s rest remains open today, and His faith is available for all who choose to trust, believe, and step into what He has already finished.
