1. When Peter asked Jesus how many times we should forgive someone, he suggested 7 times. Jesus responds with 77 times or 7 times 70 (depending on your translation). Why did Peter set the bar so low for forgiveness? Have you ever done the same?2. Do you believe God’s forgiveness is limitless or limited, unconditional or conditional? How will your answer affect your own faith life?3. In today’s parable, the unforgiving servant accepted the King’s forgiveness, but then refused to forgive someone else. Has this ever happened in your life?4. Someone once said, “refusing to forgive someone is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.” Do you agree and have you ever experienced this in your own life? 5. Forgiveness takes practice. Where are you practicing forgiveness in your own life? Where in your life are you refusing to forgive?
