I had one of the toughest battle today which is a near victory for me, if I have to put it in a real life context, I will say a near death experience on godchained battle ground. I had to use my normal control magic deck which cost just 8.6$ and my opponent evil mashmallow came with strength steal deception deck which cost $6.5. On a norm day, my main focus is to always win unless my opponent bring in more stronger deck and strategy.
This battle started well and I was trying to focus on how to increase my mana so I can play my top cards but he was focusing on destroying my god health, first was Switch duelist with extra 2 strength but I manage to kill it even though it dealt more damage on my god then he brought in Cobra Scepter which kept on taking one health from my god whenever I draw a card and that put me at a disadvantage. I try to look for card that can remove the relic but there is none around so I change my strategy to secure my god health using frontline cards and also attacking his god health instead of his cards.
It was tough and the health difference was really much at some point it was 30 against 4 which was enough to give up but the game change and guess what happened next?
