Listen "Earth Day Q&A"
Episode Synopsis
Last week was Earth Day, and while at USGBC, we believe that every day is Earth Day, April 22 represents different things to different people and serves as an important reminder to think more consciously about the environment and the impact we all make.
Earth Day was first celebrated in the U.S. 1970 and became an internationally recognized day in 1990. It is now celebrated in 192 countries around the world.
To commemorate the day, we asked staff and local passersby what Earth Day means to them.
