Primary elections help to narrow down the pool of candidates for a Political Party. Presidential candidates are selected at their respective party’s convention. Primary elections are not marketed as much as the general election in November, but your voice is more important here as you can also determine who gets to run for your affiliated party in both National and Local roles.
