Listen "Thanksgiving Sermon: “I Delight in Weaknesses” – 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 – November 24, 2024"
Episode Synopsis
“That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses” (2 Corinthians 12:1-10). The Bible gives us a totally different perspective on Thanksgiving. If today you look at your life and all you see is weakness, Jesus must really love you. Do you realize that? God’s grace is seen most clearly in our weaknesses. Faith in Jesus says, “Thank you, Jesus, for this pain that every day leads me back to you. Thank you, Jesus, for that loss that fixes my thoughts on heaven. Thank you, Jesus, for that defeat that smashed my pride and turned me to you. Thank you, Jesus, for my loneliness, because it helps me see what a friend you are.” If you learn to treasure God’s grace to you in Jesus, you’ll learn to say every day, “I delight in weaknesses…. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” I hope you can listen to this Thanksgiving sermon, “I Delight in Weaknesses.” Jesus loves you!
