There is a question that gets to the heart of what Christianity is all about: “Is Jesus God?” Do you know the answer? Yes! Here is one of Jesus’ claims to be God himself: “Before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58). Those two little words make all the difference in the world: “I am!” Who is the One who forgives? Jesus says, “I am!” Who is the One who saves? “I am!” Who is the One who provides? “I am!” Who is the One who loves? “I am!” When Jesus says “I am!,” you can either pick up a stone and reject him or fall at his feet and worship him.
