Listen "1 Corinthians 11:17-32 – “The Body and Blood of the Lord” – November 17, 2024"
Episode Synopsis
“This is my body, which is for you” (1 Corinthians 11:24). Those are some of the simplest words in the Bible. Sadly, those are also some of the most controversial words in the Bible. Is the Lord’s Supper really the body and blood of Christ? Yes, it is! On the night before he died, Jesus gave his disciples his last will and testament. What did Jesus leave behind for us? Himself! His body and blood for the forgiveness of sins. What God dies for his people? Just Jesus! There is no one like Jesus. How can you doubt Jesus’ forgiveness when he puts into your hand and your mouth the very thing he paid on the cross to forgive you? The Lord’s Supper is not food for our bodies. It’s food for our souls. I hope you can listen to this sermon about the Lord’s Supper: “The Body and Blood of the Lord.” Jesus loves you!
