You are alive. But we do not always live that way, do we? So often we live as though life is about us, as though life is something we made and that—if we work at it—we keep making. But it is not, and we do not live very well when we think it is. Life is a gift. It is a gift of God’s grace. His grace makes us who we uniquely are and rescues us from what we so often become. Sharing hope means sharing the life of Jesus. The first aspect of ‘sharing’ or koinonia is ‘communion,’ sharing life in Jesus. God has made us one with himself in Christ, taking our sin and giving us life… real, God infused life. This is grace. And all he asks is faith.
