Episode Synopsis

This week we focus on love as a Fruit of the Spirit. God emphasizes the centrality of love throughout the Old and New Testament Documents. Key examples include Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (some say the summary statement of the Pentateuch) and in Jesus’ teaching Matthew 22: 36-40. The overriding concept is that the Spirit produces love in us so that we can appreciate the gifts of others. The threat against our ability to receive, accept, and live in love, is pride.
