In the penultimate episode of our coverage of The Blood of Olympus, we find ourselves at odds once again. Passivity versus activity! Appeasement versus justice! Protecting the world against climate change versus... well, I guess climate change! This week, we talk about Zeus and Jason's relationship, Jacqueline's cry counter, post-battle friskiness, conflicts being born and then promptly tossed in the dumpster out back, the recurring abused villainess, stakes that were raised and then set at that level forever, Hazel getting fully ghosted by the book, confusing prophecy mechanics, demigod language magic, existential threats to humanity gaining a health bar, sub-orbital spikes, and phalanx. Good ol' phalanx...
