On Sunday, August 17th, Pastor Jasmine Crennan shared a powerful message titled “Jesus Over Everything,” drawn from Colossians 1:15–20. She explained how Paul’s writing in this passage takes the form of a chiasm, a poetic structure rich with meaning. Jasmine highlighted how the text reveals Jesus as supreme over all creation, over everything, and even over the new creation. She then encouraged the congregation to live out of Christ’s sufficiency, to remain deeply rooted in the Gospel, and to guard against spiritual drift, reminding us that without being grounded in the Word, the world can easily pull us in many directions.
