Ermington is a village and civil parish located approximately 2 miles south of the town of Ivybridge in the county of Devon, England. It’s not a large place, but large enough. And it was here, in 1976 a housewife who we will call Mrs G was pegging out her washing. The day wasn’t particularly remarkable. The weather was average for February, the winter was not harsh but that didn’t discourage the chill winds. It was then Mrs G noticed something.
