Dawn Weisz is the CEO for MCE and she coordinated efforts to explore, develop and launch MCE as the first Community Choice Aggregation program in California. Under her watch, MCE has launched service to over 540,000 customers in 37 communities, entered into power supply agreements that have doubled the amount of renewable energy purchased in the region, initiated numerous local renewable generation projects, and achieved greenhouse gas reductions through energy efficiency and by exceeding state requirements for renewable and carbon-free energy supply.
