Listen "An Ordinary Man: #16 Civil Disobedience"
Episode Synopsis
We tend to obey those we fear displeasing, whether it's civil authorities, peers, or God. For Peter and John, obeying God took precedence over obeying civil authority. Is it ever right to be disobedient? Civil disobedience, when done in obedience to God’s higher law, can be an act of true faith. This sermon argues that all authority derives its legitimacy from God, and we must obey Him above human authorities when their laws contradict His will.
