(inspired by Greg Gilbert's What is the Gospel? but before we look at the specifics of the gospel, we will be taking a step back and answer these three questions: Where does the gospel come from? The source which answers the question, "What is the gospel?" must be a perfect source God is the one true authority, His Word is perfectThere is only one true gospel. Anything that contradicts what the Bible says is wrong What is the heart of the gospel? Everyone is accountable to God Everyone has rebelled against GodThe one and only solution is ChristYou can receive this gift of salvation Why does the gospel matter? It affects your eternal life It affects your life on earth
