I've been following Kelly Dessaint's long-running zine series Piltdownlad for some time, so it's a privilege to have him on the show. His zine series, Behind the Wheel, began as way for him to cover the tech industry in San Francisco by driving for Uber and Lyft. He descended pretty far into the belly of the sleazy tech beast, from shutting down Ayn Rand-reading tech bros to crashing a worker advocacy conference that didn't invite any workers. He tells us about these adventures and why he's now a proud cab driver.
