Listen "63: Wings of Desire (1987) and Dogma (1999)"
Episode Synopsis
Text Matt & Adam!Angels on Earth is the theme this week. Wim Wender's "Wings of Desire" is one of Matt's favorite films and Adam seemed to enjoy it too. Both agreed it was more like watching poetry than film. Kevin Smith's "Dogma" wasn't as good as 18 year old Adam once thought, but it has its moments. Matt Damon rocks as the avenging angel Loki. Matt thought it was okay, but could have done without Jay and Silent Bob's dick jokes. Up next: Families Are the Worst with Wim Wender's Paris, Texas (1984) and Tokyo Sonata (2008).Thanks for listening!Contact the show: [email protected]: https://www.facebook.com/24theRoadShowHave your own recommendations?
