Shortly after finding her, Wells is attacked and kidnapped by Griffin Grey, who demands that Wells find a cure for his metahuman abilities. Grey has superhuman strength, but he is also aging rapidly. Barry realizes that when Grey uses his super strength he accelerates the aging process. Barry, Joe, and Cisco manipulate Grey into using more of his powers until he ages into a weak, old man before reverting back to his 18-year-old self. To fight Zoom, Wells offers to recreate the events that Barry gave his speed. On Earth-2, Hunter reveals that he kidnapped Caitlin because he is in love with her. Caitlin meets her doppelganger Killer Frost, who was captured by Zoom. Killer Frost convinces Caitlin to help her escape and then attempts to kill her. Zoom arrives and kills Killer Frost, and then warns Caitlin not to free the man in the iron mask.
