Do we only seem to listen while we prepare to talk? Do we interrupt those speaking? Are we listening for the Lord’s still, small voice? Another question to ponder: Are there times when we should not be listening? As we look at related scriptures, we can determine the instances where we should protect our ears from what we hear or listen to.  As you listen, is it something you want to affect your thoughts, your mind and heart? Do you hear words that are soothing, gentle? Pleasant, like a honeycomb?
