For those of you here in San Felipe who haven't had the pleasure of running into George Jackson, you're in for a treat. George is a long time resident and ex-pat of the San Felipe area. When it comes to all things having to do with off-road racing, desert survival, micro-beers, and general knowledge of the area, you can't go too far wrong by George....by George.
In this episode, George shares a bit about his background growing up in Idaho, joining the marines, and becoming an surveyor. He also talks about his first trip to Baja in the 1980's. He describes what it was like to build a house in Pete's Camp; his off-road cars and experiences; and, coaching women drivers. Finally he shares thoughts on the impact of plastics on San Felipe and what the future holds for water in this area. Enjoy!
