She went on exchange in Semester One of 2023 to the University of Exeter. While on exchange, Sam made an effort to connect with her ancestral roots, visiting ruined homes and cemeteries across the Europe. She is a self-proclaimed expert on university's residential colleges, having lived in four of them... so far.
