In this episode, Balu and I discuss Idolatry. The Bible has a lot to say concerning this subject, and it is abundantly clear that this issue means a lot to our God, the One True Living God!It seems that some believe that idolatry really isn't that big of an issue today, especially in the United States. After all, we don't have little golden, wooden, or stone statues that we worship. However, we discuss how Idolatry is actually a massive problem today, right here in the US. It is on every street corner and it affects many people's lives. We discuss some of the idols we face today, both the physical and non-physical idols that are prevalent in our society. We also look at how we as Christians can combat these idols through loving God (Mark 12:28-31), drawing near to God (James 4:7-8), seeking God (Jeremiah 29:13-14), and by being a living sacrifice unto God (Romans 12:1).
