Apart from the so-called scientific issues to Young Earth Creationism, one of the major sticking points naysayers, including many Old Testament scholars, like to bring up is a linguistic one—that is, the word translated as 'day' from the original language the book of Genesis was written in, i.e., Hebrew, does not really mean a 24-hour day.  Although many of us may not know Hebrew, let that not be a stumbling block for, in this series, John will examine this claim to see if it holds any water!
